Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish Shut Out at the Grammys for First Time in 3 Years
Eilish received seven nominations while Swift received six from the Recording Academy
Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish celebrated music at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
At the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 2, this was the first time both artists had gone home from the awards show empty-handed since 2022. 2024 had been a big year for both musicians with their achievements poising them to take home Gramophones from the Crypto.com Arena.
Swift, 35, released The Tortured Poets Department while on her record-breaking Eras Tour and became the top-global artist on Spotify in 2024.
Eilish, 23, also released Hit Me Hard and Soft and embarked on her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. Her song "Birds of a Feather" was the most-streamed song on Spotify in 2024.
Swift has won 14 Grammys throughout her career. Eilish, meanwhile, has taken home nine Gramophones throughout her career.
Despite neither Swift or Eilish taking home any awards, they both were supportive of their fellow musicians, celebrating the happy occasion.

The "So High School" singer was nominated for best music video for "Fortnight," album of the year and best pop vocal album for The Tortured Poets Department, best pop duo/group performance with Gracie Abrams for "us." and song of the year and record of the year for "Fortnight" with Post Malone.
Swift had the honor of presenting Beyoncé with the best country album Grammy during the awards show. She also danced the night away in the crowd for Sabrina Carpenter, who opened for her on the Eras Tour and shared a seat with Wicked star Cynthia Erivo at one point as well.
She was also photographed chatting with Blue Ivy, Beyoncé's daughter at one point, along with whispering into Chappell Roan's ear.
Upon Kendrick Lamar winning the award for record of the year, she raised her champagne glass to celebrate him from the audience. Swift also danced with with Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz's son Genesis during Shakira's performance.
At the end of the night, Swift and Jay-Z toasted Beyoncé when she won the album of the year Grammy for Cowboy Carter.
Eilish, meanwhile, was up for seven Gramophones: best pop vocal album and album of the year for Hit Me Hard and Soft, best pop duo/group performance for "Guess" with Charli xcx, song of the year, record of the year, and best pop solo performance with "Birds of a Feather" and best dance pop recording with "L'amour De Ma Vie" (Over Now extended cut).
She performed "Birds of a Feather" early in the evening honoring her hometown of Los Angeles.

Towards the end of the evening during Charli xcx's performance of "Von Dutch" and "Guess," Eilish could be seen singing and dancing along in the crowd. The artists had collaborated on Charli's remix and both appear in the music video.

Eilish also posed with Chappell Roan and Carpenter, 25, in between presentations and performances.
