Target shopper saves $124 on popular Christmas item thanks to 'insane' sale
Kmart and Target have slashed prices on Christmas products across the country.
As any savvy shopper would know, the best time to buy Christmas products is the week after Christmas. While some people enjoy eating leftovers, lounging at home and questioning what day it is in the week between December 25 and January 1, many shoppers enjoy hitting the mall to hunt for the best deals they can find.
One woman (@organizedm) took to TikTok this week to share that she bought 18 festive items from Target for only $24, saving herself over $300. The haul included a range of beauty products, homewares and two Christmas trees - a 1.82m Kingston Christmas Tree marked down from $49 to $2 and a 2.4m Balsam Christmas Tree marked down from $129 to $5.
“This would have to be the best bargain shopping I have ever done,” she wrote in the caption.

She explained that she bought all the products from Target in Melbourne's Chadstone Mall on Monday and couldn’t believe how many Christmas trees were still available.
“If you have not been to Target, I highly suggest getting in there today because this was insane. I’ve got so many gifts and so many little things I’m gonna use for $24,” she added.
'What a bargain'
Social media users quickly took to the comments to express their excitement at the sales and share what they had purchased.
“I got 30 things at 10c each at Kmart today,” one person wrote, while another added, “Fountain Gate was insane. A dude bought 200 trees. Yes. 200. They were a dollar”.
“Wow good job! Awesome haul,” a third remarked, followed by someone else who said, “Oh my god! What a bargain”.
“These would make great presents!” a different user shared, with another writing, “I was having a blast in the clearance section online last night”.
'Stock up for Christmas 2025'
New Zealand content creator (@jasminekim__) also posted a video showcasing some of Kmart’s sales, including Christmas hats, dog accessories and tree decorations for 10 cents each.
“Stock up for Christmas 2025 because Kmart is having the biggest Christmas clearance sale where items are as low as 10 cents!” she said. “The sale is happening at all Kmarts nationwide but stock is low.”
