Sydney's appearance in New York City comes amid her shutting down body-shamers on Instagram over the weekend. The Euphoria actor shared a look at the sexist, misogynistic, and just genuinely disgraceful comments she's been dealing with in light of recent swimsuit pap pics being shared. She followed these comments up with a series of photos and videos of herself training at the gym and gaining muscle in preparation for playing professional boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic.
Back in October—after pics of Sydney on set leaked—she spoke about being cast in the biopic and made it clear how excited she is to be training.
