Susan Sarandon's Daughter Eva Amurri Rewears Her 2003 Oscars Dress 21 Years Later: See the Look Then and Now!
A love for Donna Karan runs in the family
Eva Amurri loves to shop her mom Susan Sarandon's closet, and who can blame her?
On Sept. 23, the Happily Eva After blogger, 39, attended the Metropolitan Opera Opening Night Gala in N.Y.C. alongside the Witches of Eastwick actress, 77, and her look for the night was a vintage dress that held special meaning.
The mom of two and New Girl alum actually decided to rewear the sheer Donna Karan dress that Sarandon wore 21 years ago at the 2003 Oscars.
She revealed so with an Instagram post that included photos of her and her mother in the sexy design, which also features a low-cut back, mini train and asymmetrical sleeves.
Strappy heels, a sleek clutch bag and "old Hollywood waves" completed Amurri's look.
“Swipe all the way to see where I got this vintage @donnakaran dress from,” Amurri captioned the carousel that ended with a throwback picture of Sarandon throwing up a peace sign on the Oscars red carpet.
Sarandon has been nominated in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category five times and won in 1996 for Dead Man Walking.

In March 2023, Amurri actually filmed herself trying on all her mom’s designer archives, including the Donna Karan number, for a TikTok video. So, her rewearing the dress was bound to happen again.
Amurri was also joined by her husband Ian Hock, whom she wed on June 29 in New York's Hudson Valley. The two got engaged in Paris in February 2023.
The bride wore a Kim Kassas strapless corset dress while the groom wore a navy suit from SuitShop. Sarandon was also a stylish mother-of-the-bride in a floral pattern suit from SuitShop that she closely collaborated on.
