“The Super Elfkins” has been sold to several territories, including France (KMBO), Spain (VerCine), Poland (Kino Świat), Portugal (Films4You), Baltics (ACME) and Eastern Europe (Prorom).
Sola Media will continue to sell the remaining territories, such as English-speaking territories and Latin America, at AFM.
The film follows in the footsteps of its prequel, the box office hit “The Elfkins – Baking a Difference” (2020), which was sold to more than 200 countries.
The director is Ute von Münchow-Pohl, whose credits include “Rabbit Academy,” “The Elfkins – Baking a Difference,” “Rabbit School” and “Raven the Little Rascal.” The budget is 9 million Euros ($9.63 million).
In the film, the world of the Elfkin girl Elfie is turned upside down when she discovers a technologically advanced Elfkin gang that surpasses her clan in fun and excitement. Can Elfie’s friendship with Bo, the youngest member of the rival gang, bridge the gap between the Elfkin clans that have been apart for over 250 years?
The film was produced by Akkord Film in co-production with Arx Anima and Seru Animation, which worked with Sola Media on recent international successes such as “The Elfkins” and “Rabbit Academy.”
