In a relatable moment, Katie was seen using her phone as a mirror, appearing to check out her outfit in the short clip.
In a blink and you’ll miss it moment, Katie then put her phone underneath the desk, before copping the Sunrise social media manager lurking nearby.
She quickly gives the camera a cheeky grin, while crossing her arms in front of her.

The 7NEWS journalist signed a two-year deal to become Sunrise’s roving reporter, a role created specifically for her to travel across Australia reporting from the biggest entertainment, sporting and community events.
“I guess this is the stuff you dream of, except I didn’t dream of it as a kid,” the 31-year-old told Courier Mail. “I actually can’t believe I’m in this position but at the same time, I do know that I’m good enough and I believe I’ll do a good job.
“I felt in my element. I get so much adrenaline out of those early mornings … and whether someone is laughing at me or with me, it made me feel good to hear that people were smiling in the morning. The world can be a pretty serious place.”
In May, Katie filled in for sports reporter Mark Beretta, captioning a carousel of images from the show: “Got to sit with the big kids today”.
David ‘Kochie’ Koch retires
Earlier this month, Katie took to her Instagram account to post a tribute to Kochie after he announced his retirement after 21 years at the helm of the Sunrise desk.
“Love, respect & peace out Kochmeister!” she wrote.
In a statement released to media at the same time as he made the announcement on-air, Kochie said: “I have loved every single minute of my time at Sunrise, and I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved over the last 21 years. I've been privileged to experience so many adventures, to meet so many incredible people and to cover so many moments of history in the making. It really is the world's best job.

“What I'll miss most is working with the amazing Sunrise team, especially Nat, Beretta and Dave Walters who have been with me for virtually the entire time on the show. I reckon I've spent more time with them than my family and it has been an utter joy. I'll miss the Sunrise viewers who have energised me every single day.
“I've also appreciated the support of the Seven Network, from the Chairman down, for allowing me to be myself, for their understanding when I've stuffed up – which is more often than I'd like to admit – and for their constant encouragement and respect,” he said.
