“Southern Charm” Season 10 Trailer Sees Cast Expand, Friendships Divide and Shep Find Love with a 'Stalker' Fan
The new season premieres Thursday, Dec. 5 on Bravo
Southern Charm is entering a new era.
Bravo's hit reality series returns for its milestone 10th season this December. And judging from the trailer that dropped on Monday, Oct. 28, change is a coming to the Charleston Charmers.
Not only have new South Carolina singles joined the group, but longstanding bonds among the existing bunch have significantly shifted — mainly that between former Shep Rose, Craig Conover and Austen Kroll.

Once an inseparable trio, it seems that Conover, 35, is now keeping his distance from the two, cutting back on his drinking and putting his focus more into his work.
That appears to have left Rose, 44, and Kroll, 37, in the dark. "If Craig is seen with a beer in his hand, he thinks his whole business is going down," Kroll says in the trailer, Rose adding, "Cutting himself off from everybody is not a solution."
Conover's girlfriend, Summer House's Paige DeSorbo, believes Rose and Kroll are "foaming at the mouth" to say she's the reason Conover has changed. But either way, Conover is not backing down.
"Our friendship will never look like it used to," he tells Kroll in one heated scene, "You can either swim, or leave!"
That's just one of the conflicts going on between the cast, which will include returning stars Venita Aspen, Leva Bonaparte, Taylor Ann Green, Madison LeCroy, Rodrigo Reyes and Jarrett “JT” Thomas.
Patricia Altschul is back, too, "delivering her straight-shooting guidance as the Grande Dame of Charleston" according to a press release, "alongside son Whitney Sudler-Smith, who continues to be entangled in the group’s antics."
There's also three new additions joining the cast, including — as PEOPLE exclusively revealed back in April — The Bachelor star Salley Carson. She appeared on Clayton Echard’s season and made her mark by infamously exiting before the first night, telling Echard she didn’t feel right beginning her time on the show on the same weekend she was supposed to get married prior to calling off her engagement.
Following her return to Charleston, Carson appeared on Southern Hospitality, where she hit it off with Joe Bradley. But things got messy when she lied about kissing TJ Dinch’s roommate Gaston before going on a date with Bradley. (Making things messier, Gaston is now seeing Green).
Molly O’Connell, another of Southern Charm's newest stars, is no stranger to being on screen either. She was the runner-up on cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model after a series of hair disasters, something she often pokes fun of in her hilarious TikToks.
In fact, her sense of humor is something that comes across in the trailer, even as she reveals to friend LeCroy that she and Conover "used to sext each other." Insists O'Connell: "I mean, I'm not trying to steal him from Paige or anything."
"I love Molly," says LeCroy. "She's weird. But like in a good way."
And then there's Ryan Albert, a good friend of Patricia who rounds out this season’s newbies. He's the show's second openly gay star, after Reyes.

Of course, this being Southern Charm, everyone's dating lives are a big topic of conversation — no one's bigger than Rose's in the trailer. The O.G. cast member confesses in the clip that he's "in love" with new boo, beauty queen and former Miss Bahamas Sienna Evans.
Evans was apparently familiar with Rose before they started dating. "She's like, a big fan of Southern Charm," LeCroy tells 83-year-old Altschul, who then jokingly dubs Evans a "stalker."
But despite her fondness for the Bravo series, she might not be that into Rose.
"Shep is being delusional," Sudler-Smith, 56, says to LeCroy, 34, in the trailer. "Dude, she's not into him!" LeCroy gossips.
Here are the official descriptions of what's to come for all the stars this season;
After Shep’s declaration to change at the end of last season, he attended an ayahuasca retreat in Costa Rica and is now determined to make real growth. He has even fallen head-over-heels in love with the former Miss Bahamas, but the group questions if she feels the same way about him.
Taylor has moved on from her relationship with Shep, last year’s drama with Austen and is unapologetically in love with her new boyfriend, a Charleston mainstay whom everyone has an opinion. She’s dedicated to setting boundaries – from friendships to past flames – so that nothing can threaten her newfound happiness.
Surprising himself by defining the relationship, Austen is finally happy with a new long-distance girlfriend and focused on reviving his beer business. While his love life is on the up and up, his friendship with Craig is on the rocks as the former partners-in-crime find themselves at a crucial point of disagreement with no clear path forward.
Craig seems to be thriving both professionally and personally, steadfast in his belief that Paige is “The One.” But after taking time away from Shep last year, he finds his longstanding friendships are on shaky ground as both Austen and Shep question what happened to their former confidante.
After just one year of marriage, resident southern belle Madison grapples with the loss of her father and finds herself dealing with issues far from her days as the single party girl. While she focuses on her family, she finds out that JT is meddling in rumors that cross the line.
JT continues to be an outspoken rabble-rouser, stirring up controversy wherever he goes. Despite his best intentions, his rapport with many in the group starts to go up in flames. However, Venita turns out to be his constant and offers a shoulder to lean on as he tries to mend friendships.
After breaking up with boyfriend Manny last year, Venita realizes that she and JT have an undeniable attraction and connection that goes deeper than most. She starts to question her feelings toward him amidst preserving her own friendships with those he may not be on the best terms with.
Leva continues to be a sounding board for her friends and isn’t afraid to call out their bad behavior when they step out of line.
Rodrigo finds himself balancing a stable home life with his partner and dealing with the drama of his closest confidantes. He’s unapologetic about giving his opinion and ready to take sides if necessary.
Salley is the latest to grace Charleston’s vibrant social scene. She’s a bubbly party girl by night and a robotics technician for surgical procedures by day. The debutante is gorgeous, intelligent and independent, and she shares a curiously parallel romantic past with Taylor.
Molly is a quirky southern belle, friendly but unfiltered, who grew up in Charleston and left to model all over the world. She’s returned home to be closer to her family and friends, and her longtime entanglements with the men of the group lead her to wonder exactly how she fits in.
Ryan is a true southern gentleman within Charleston’s elite social scene. Along with his husband, Dr. Eddie Irions, he’s among Patricia’s closest friends.
