Sophie Monk 'crashing' Karl Stefanovic's wedding

Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough are said to have kept their wedding guest list small to ensure an intimate affair when they tie the knot next month in Mexico.

TV personality Sophie Monk may not have made the cut, but what’s stopping the Love Island host from gatecrashing the Today host’s big day?

“I love Mexico, maybe I’ll just rock up,” the 38-year-old joked when chatting to Yahoo Lifestyle at the 2018 ARIA Awards on Wednesday.

Sophie and Karl’s friendship

Sophie has appeared on Today many times, and is known for her cheeky exchanges with Gold Logie winner Karl.

After splitting from Bachelorette love Stu Laundy, Sophie asked Karl to find her a new man earlier this year.

“Nice to see you you’re a great lady and funny lady, you deserve to be happy yourself,” Karl told her as they were about to wrap up an interview in February.

“Thanks, Karl,” Sophie replied. “Set me up with one of your friends then.”

Fast forward nine months, and Sophie is happily dating marketing executive, Joshua Gross.

The pair met on a long-haul flight from Europe to Sydney back in June where they were sat adjacent to one another in business class.

Wedding plans

So could wedding bells for Sophie be on the horizon, with perhaps a sweet proposal just in time for Christmas?

“You’d have to ask him that one,” Sophie told Yahoo Lifestyle on Wednesday.
