Sophie Monk tells Karl: 'Set me up with your friends'
Sophie Monk hasn't had much luck in the love department as of late, and she may be turning to Karl Stefanovic for dating help.
During an appearance on Today on Monday morning, the former Bachelorette star asked Karl to hook her up with one of his friends.
"Nice to see you you're a great lady and funny lady, you deserve to be happy yourself," Karl told her as they were about to wrap up the interview.
"Thanks, Karl," Sophie replied. "Set me up with one of your friends then."
Her comment set herself, Karl and co-host Georgie Gardner off into a fit of laughter.
"Why are you laughing so hard?" Sophie then questioned.
Whether she was joking or not, it begs the question: could Karl be the answer to Soph's quest to find love?
The 38-year-old had announced on Instagram on Australia Day she and Stu Laundy had split following a whirlwind romance on The Bachelorette.
"I don't know how to explain this because it's an unusual circumstance to be in...," she wrote. "But because I entered this relationship so publicly I know I owe an answer to Australia about my personal life."
She went on to explain she signed up to The Bachelorette 'looking to settle down and start a family'.
"I gave it the best shot I could and my intentions were everything I said I was looking for, but unfortunately it just didn't work out," she continued.
And despite insisting they ended on good terms, the publican recently claimed he found out about the breakup via Instagram.
Meanwhile TV host Karl has some great relationship news of his own.
On Friday the 43-year-old confirmed he and 34-year-old partner Jasmine Yarbrough are engaged.
