Sophie Monk announced as host of Beauty and the Geek

She recently shocked fans when she was unmasked as Dragonfly on The Masked Singer and it seems we’re about to be seeing a lot more of Sophie Monk on our screens.

Today, it was announced that the 40-year-old former Love Island host will be taking up a hosting spot on Channel Nine’s Beauty And The Geek, which was formerly aired on Channel Seven.

The show is set to be reimagined for 2021, featuring a host of beauties and geeks from all over the country, with Sophie at the realm.

While Love Island will be back on our screens in 2021, it’s not clear who will be hosting the show, with Channel NIne confirming season three will be filmed from the Gold Coast.

It was also announced today that some of the most popular reality shows on the channel will return next year, including Married At First Sight, LEGO Masters, The Block, Travel Guides and Australian Ninja Warrior.

According to news.com.au, Channel Nine revealed that through Zoom castings, they believe they’ve “uncovered the most genuine cast yet”.

Amongst the new shows set to be added to the network in 2021 is The Parenting Jury, hosted by parenting expert Jo Frost, which will see parents judging each other’s parenting skills.

A new drama, called Amazing Grace, is also set to air, which will be set around a midwife at a major hospital.
