Sonia Kruger 'loses' her Gold Logie two days after winning
The TV host won the coveted award on Sunday night.
Sonia Kruger has revealed she has already 'lost' her Gold Logie, just two days after winning the award on Sunday night.
The host, 57, revealed on Monday her daughter Maggie, eight, had taken the award, telling The Daily Telegraph, "I don’t think I have a choice."
"I think Maggie will claim this, and she will put it on her book shelf in her bedroom and that is where it will stay. She loves a shiny trophy," she added.
Sonia beat Hamish Blake, Julia Morris, Leigh Sales, Mark Coles Smith, Osher Günsberg and Shaun Micallef for the award, making her the first woman to win in eight years after Carrie Bickmore won in 2015.

Speaking about the win, Sonia told the publication, "I don’t like to divide people by gender or sex, because I think it should be merit-based, essentially…and I am hoping that is what it was, that people didn’t vote for me purely because I am a woman."
"But yeah, it was great to represent the girls," she added.
'Means a lot'
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle last week, the now Gold Logie winner opened up about what winning the award really means to her.
"It means a lot because for people to take the time to actually cast a vote means that they feel fairly passionate about the shows that we're making and that we're putting out for them. And at the end of the day, we are here for the audience.

"We want to make things that entertain the audience, whether it's Dancing with the Stars, which has just been on and just been super successful this year, Big Brother, which people become really quite fanatical about watching, and The Voice, which is coming up," she said.
