Sonia Kruger, 57, stuns in sheer dress for Dancing With The Stars finale: 'Incredible'

Sonia Kruger showed off her fashion credentials for the finale of Dancing With The Stars.

While viewers of Dancing With The Stars are used to host Sonia Kruger absolutely killing it in the style stakes on every episode, last night the star dazzled in a sheer gown, leaving fans speechless.

Sonia pulled out all the stops for the finale of the Channel 7 show, appearing on stage wearing what appeared to be a yellow bodysuit, draped with a completely sheer glittering overlay.

The ensemble was cinched in at the waist with a thin, yellow, buckled belt and Sonia kept things simple, matching the dress with a pair of towering perspex heels.

"Dress is incredible. 🙌 you look gorgeous ❤️," Sophie Monk Monk commented on a video Sonia posted to her Instagram page.

Being fit and healthy is a huge priority for Sonia, who is mum to daughter Maggie, eight.

“When you’ve come back from having a baby you want to do things gradually, you want to do things that are just a little bit more gentle on the body. So that’s why Strictly You came about,” Sonia told WHO earlier this year.

"Dancing itself is one of the best forms of fitness there is because it’s cardiac, it’s a great cardio workout. It’s toning. It’s great from a muscular perspective. It’s great for the joints because you’re using your own body weight as resistance. It has everything. You only have to look at the dancers’ bodies on Dancing with the Stars."

Sonia also added that the dance workouts are a "great stress reliever".

She also shared that she doesn't keep any food off limits and will enjoy a cocktail or chocolate if she wants one.

Last night's Dancing With The Stars finale saw Human Nature singer Phil Burton beat out Home and Away actor Emily Weir to take home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy.

After combing the judges scores with the audience vote, Phil was awarded the winning title and $20,000 for his chosen charity, NSW Police Legacy.

“This show has just been so incredible for the last seven weeks. I've had the absolute time of my life. And, you know, it is a competition but it doesn't feel like it when you are out here and you are with all these amazing people. It's been an absolute joy to be a part of it," Phil said.

“I also want to thank my family who were here tonight, my beautiful wife and my kids. But the biggest thanks for me has to go to Ash. She's brought out a side in me that I never even knew existed,” he continued.
