Sofia Vergara finally breaks silence following Joe Manganiello split

Sofía Vergara, 51, has finally spoken out following the shock news of her split with husband Joe Manganiello, 46.

After seven years of marriage, the celebrity couple announced their split in July this year, citing Hollywood's favourite term: irreconcilable differences.

In a statement at the time, the two asked for their privacy as they "navigate this new phase of our lives."

Now Sofia has spoken about her turbulent year, speaking to ET on the red carpet for America's Got Talent where she's a judge.

'An interesting year'

Amid reports that Joe has moved on and is dating 33-year-old actress Caitlin O'Connor, Sofia referenced the 'changes' in her life in 2023 so far.

"It's been very interesting, you know. It's been an interesting year for me," she said.

"A lot of changes, a lot of good and craziness and bad things happen and good things happen. You know, what makes life so entertaining and interesting."

She also added that she can't complain, while saying she's currently just enjoying her 50s.

"I can't complain. I've had a great, great time. There's always time for more good stuff coming," she said.

Joe's new romance

The interview comes off the back of the news that Joe Manganiello has moved on from the marriage, after filing for divorce in early July.

According to TMZ, Joe has been enjoying hanging out with Caitlin, though they haven't put a label on their relationship status. The two were recently spotted leaving a LA gym together, before getting into Joe's SUV and driving off.

The two reportedly met in August at a screening event for Season 2 of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.
