Sofía Vergara Channeled a Modern Mrs. Claus in a Stunning Ruby Red Look

Cue the winter wonderland.

Thanksgiving might be just nine days away, but it appears Sofía Vergara already has her mind on Christmas. The star stepped out in New York City yesterday looking like a modern, and super stylish, Mrs. Claus who just came from the North Pole, red outerwear and all.

While most East Coasters have been confused about how to dress these past few weeks as temperatures oscillate between 40 and 70 degrees, Vergara is embracing her winter wardrobe full stop. She was captured on an evening stroll in the big city in an effortlessly chic, easily recreatable outfit. For the base of her look, she opted for a maroon sweater, baggy, light-wash jeans, and crisp white sneakers with a gum sole. The star of the show came via a shiny ruby-red puffer coat that reflected the light with its iridescent silk fabric.

Although she did not accessorize with a big red sack, she had plenty of fun accents, including dangly gold earrings, black eyeglasses, a white quilted Chanel crossbody purse, and a smattering of rings. She also carried a Bergdorf Goodman shopping bag for good measure, and perhaps a sign that she's doing her holiday shopping early.

For beauty, the Griselda star wore bronzy makeup, complete with a warm smoky eye, a peach blush, and a mauve-pink lip. She styled her chestnut-colored locks down with a middle part.

The mom-of-one has been rocking seasonal fashion like a pro. Back in October, she enjoyed an evening in the Big Apple in another fabulous coat. That time, she donned a fall-ready chocolate-brown leather trench coat over a low-cut, slightly-sheer, black lace top and baggy, floor-sweep black jeans. A large diamond ring, diamond chain necklace, and matching earrings completed the look.
