Shania Twain Praised as a 'Legend' for 'Iconic' Clapback to Mansplaining
Let's go girls! Shania Twain feels like a woman, and she doesn't need a man to tell her anything.
In a new video uploaded to social media, the country pop queen had the perfect response to all the men who tried "mansplaining" what it takes to be a successful musician—and it's safe to say it didn't impress her much!
"me at the bar letting a man mansplain how to make it in the music industry," she wrote across a sassy Instagram video on Friday, Jan. 31, before switching to a montage of clips from throughout her iconic career.
"me every day since 1995," Twain, 59, added over the series of videos that showed an array of impressive moments in her life, including performances in front of sold-out crowds and acceptance speeches at the Grammys and other award shows.
"All the men who tried this on me aren't around anymore 😏," she quipped in the caption of her post, which was set to the tune of her own track, "That Don't Impress Me Much."
Fans in the comments were nothing short of proud to see Twain powerful post, with some of her followers chiming in to call her "iconic" and a "legend."
"OH THIS IS QUEEN BEHAVIOR WE MUST SUPPORT! 🔥🔥" someone else gushed.
"You're such a damn icon," one of her followers added.
"Alexa, play Man, I Feel Like a Woman," another user quipped.
