Sex and the City Reunion! See Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson Together Again at the Paris Olympics

Ooh la la! The Summer Olympics in Paris provided a great reason for Sarah Jessica Parker to reunite with one of her Sex and the City co-stars.

Jennifer Hudson, who played Carrie’s assistant Louise in the 2008 Sex and the City movie, posted a photo of her and Parker posing in front of the Eiffel Tower, adding the caption: “Look who I ran into in Paris !! Carrie and Louise reunited at last! Love is the thing, you know!” (Fans will remember that Paris was also the site of the Sex and the City series finale, where Big won back Carrie’s heart.)

After first breaking out on American Idol, Hudson won an Oscar for Dreamgirls before taking the role of Louise in Sex and the City’s first trip to the big screen. Louise was a hopeless romantic who helped Carrie piece her life back together after Big jilted her at the altar. Louise later left New York to return home to St. Louis to be with the man she loved — and thankfully avoided Sex and the City 2 as a result.

Since then, Hudson has become an EGOT winner and appeared on shows like Smash and Empire, and she now hosts a syndicated daytime talk show. Meanwhile, Parker stars on Max’s Sex and the City continuation And Just Like That… alongside her SATC co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. So maybe this reunion means that Louise could make a cameo in the upcoming Season 3?
