Selena Gomez's All-White Pantsuit Put a Bridal Twist on Menswear

"Going to the courthouse and we're going to get married" was ringing through our ears the second Selena Gomez stepped onto the red carpet at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards. On Friday, the actress, who recently announced her engagement to Benny Blanco, said "no" to the dress and "yes" to a wedding-day ready pantsuit from Ralph Lauren. 

Putting a bridal twist on traditional menswear, Gomez wore a form-fitting white blazer with a matching button-down vest, a mesh shirt, and a satin tie underneath. She finished off the look with a pair of tailored trousers (also in white) that completely covered her heels below, glittering earrings, and, of course, her 6-carat marquis diamond engagement ring.

Gomez's dark brunette hair was pulled back into a sleek bun that highlighted her newly-engaged glow and glossy pink lips. 

Last month, the Emilia Pérez star revealed that she and Blanco had gotten engaged on Instagram. "Forever begins now," Gomez captioned a carousel of photos from the fairytale proposal, which included a Taco Bell picnic and took place on a sound stage.

"It was very her," a source previously told People of the engagement, noting that Benny popping the question was "a total surprise to Selena." Afterwards, the couple shared the news with their families and friends during an "impromptu gathering."

"Benny and Selena were so excited to share the news right away with their loved ones," the insider added. "It's such a true partnership between them."
