Hollywood Squares is a classic game show in which two contestants play tic-tac-toe to win money and prizes. The “board” for the game is a vertical stack of open-faced cubes, each occupied by a celebrity seated at a desk and facing the contestants. One contestant represents the letter X and the other the letter O in the game of tic-tac-toe. The celebrities are asked questions, and the contestants judge the legitimacy of their answers to win the game, getting either an X or an O if they judge correctly.
After its Jan. 9 premiere, Hollywood Squares will move to Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS beginning on Jan. 29 as part of CBS Game Night, along with The Price is Right at Night at 8 p.m. ET/PT and Raid the Cage at 9 p.m.
