“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”' Whitney Leavitt Embraces 'Villain' Label on TikTok, and Her Castmates Are Already Weighing in
The drama between the 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' cast is brewing on TikTok
Whitney Leavitt is learning to be okay with being the "bad guy."
The soon-to-be mom of three has replied to reactions of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
After her first watch, Whitney hinted that things weren't what they seemed from the show with a TikTok captioned, "huh that’s not how I remember it."
The next day, Whitney posted another TikTok where she used a sound to "plead guilty" to the "crimes" of "setting boundaries," "expressing that I need space," and "leaving a group chat."
Whitney zeroed in on what she was unhappy with, addressing drama between herself and castmate Mayci Neeley. Many viewers have criticized Whitney for not being there for Mayci, who she was arguably closest with among the cast. This was particularly an issue at Mayci's launch for her line of natal nutrition supplements, Babymama.
Mikayla Matthews shared some thoughts on the matter as she appeared in a TikTok with Mayci, where the caption reads, "When my bestfriend defends someone who gaslights her and doesn't support her but says she's my friend."

In a TikTok on Tuesday, Sept. 10, Whitney shared a screenshot of an iMessage exchange, where she is seen apologizing to Mayci and explaining that she wasn't coming to the event before. The text message was from March 1, with Mayci's launch event happening on March 5.
"I love you to pieces but I'm not going to be as close right now. Nothing personal, but I really just need space. Im not processing things healthy lately. I'm depressed & unhappy and angry all of the time. I just want to be alone right now. I won't be going to your event. I don't want to see any of them. I'm so sorry. Again, I love you and appreciate you and am grateful for you," the message to Mayci reads.
Whitney followed up with another video in which she lip-syncs along to a sound that says, "Fine, make me your villain."
Mayci seemingly responded with a TikTok where she mouths along with a sound that says, "I'm trying to sit here mute as f---."
"the disrespect is loud 🥴," she captioned the video.
Mikayla stirred the pot when she posted another TikTok that jokes about the cast's "problems." Each person's phrase relates to their storyline throughout the season. Last is Whitney, who Mikayla says "Doesn't know how to be accountable. A little delulu."
Mikayla was also disappointed by Whitney throughout the season, including when she seemingly showed up to Mikayla's birthday to give a gift awkwardly and try to make amends with Mayci.
Commenters noted that while all the other cast members are tagged in the video, Whitney is not. Mikayla later took another hit at Whitney, writing on another video, "POV they are incapable of taking accountability when they're not in control so they just switch their personality AGAIN to match the narrative."
Whitney responded by reposting the iMessage on Instagram, tagging Mikayla and doubling down on the fact she sent the message to Mayci before the event.
In one video, Mikayla shared a TikTok of herself and her family on a plane. "I haven't been getting enough attention from my friends lately, so I thought I would try setting boundaries and moving away too," the video reads.
The caption adds, "Wish me luck🫶🏼🙏🏼 waiting for them to beg me to stay🥲," tagging all cast members minus Whitney.
