A former high profile member of the Church of Scientology is lifting the lid on the inner workings of the secretive, star-studded church, and she’s zeroing in on the children of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Following the pair’s high profile divorce in 2001, speculation ran rife around the custody of their children Isabella and Connor, and how the church would influence their relationship.

Nicole’s absence from her daughter’s wedding in 2018 raised eyebrows and suspicions, and now an internal source says the estrangement is real, and it’s the result of an orchestrated campaign by the church to turn the Cruise kids against their mum.

The Church of Scientology has denied all claims.

A ‘Suppressive Person’

In an expose for The Daily Mail TV, Sam Domingo, the daughter-in-law of opera singer, Plácido Domingo, dished on her 22 years spent in the Church of Scientology, claiming to lift the lid on an insidious campaign against Nicole Kidman.

Sam says Tom Cruise’s children Connor and Isabella were targeted following the divorce.

She claims the kids were separated from the other children of church members to undergo training by the Church’s second-in-command Marty Rathburn, to ensure they saw their mother as a 'Suppressive Person'.

Suppressive Person is the name famously assigned, by the church’s theology, to ‘anti-social personalities’ in the general population, and is almost always used to describe ex-members.

Famous historical personalities the Church associates with this ‘disorder’ include Adolf Hitler, and this according to Sam is what Connor and Isabella were convinced their mother was.

“... the Cruise kids had no choice. After the divorce, they were indoctrinated into Scientology and very much isolated,” Sam claimed.

She also went on to say that they were then flogged for their star power to the church’s advantage, painting a bleak picture of the children’s lives and freedom.

“Isabella's being used for PR, she's Tom Cruise's kid, it's not fair what they're doing to her and Connor,” she said.

“They have no choice but to be the poster kids of Scientology now.”

She says she was compelled to speak up after she saw Isabella’s explosive claims that she was ‘drowning in problems’ before embracing the church earlier this year, in a promotional email for the church.

Nicole told Who in 2018 that she was intensely private about her relationship with her adoptive children, but insisted she maintained her maternal love.

“They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and, as a mother, it’s my job to love them,” she said.

Tragic response to loss

The former member also made shocking claims regarding the tragic death of John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s son Jett in 2009.

She says the actor attempted to call Jett’s ‘Thetan’ - the Scientology version of a soul - back into the deceased boy’s body.

'John Travolta did a ''Bring Back To Life'' assist while Jett was in the ambulance... This is meant to raise them back to life,” she claimed.
