Tom Cruise’s daughter Isabella has broken her silence about her famous father’s ties to Scientology, and revealed how she was ‘drowning in problems’ before undergoing pricey training led by the church.

The 26-year-old made the admission in a promotional email sent to London-based followers, in which she revealed her new status as an ‘auditor’ for the controversial religion.

With the qualification, Isabella can now quiz Scientologists about their devotion to the religion following the church-sanctioned training which is believed to cost up to $30,000AUD.

Speaking of the effect training had on her life, Isabella wrote in the email obtained by The Underground Bunker blog, that it ‘was exactly what (she) needed’.

“I dragged out the testing and correction, just made it through the drilling and then finally began my auditing adventure, and wow, I wasn’t prepared,” she said.

“This is what I had been searching for. The missing piece.”

She went on to divulge details of her famous father’s infamous devotion to the church and how he aided her through the apparently rigorous training.

“Thank you to my Dad for everything,” Isabella wrote.

“I would have drowned in my own problems if you hadn’t been there to support me or get me through the preliminaries.

“It took a whole family and org to get me here. So thank you to all for the endless support.

“And to those who saw me in my moments. Thank you for seeing me to the end. This isn’t just my product but yours as well.”

Isabella continued to sing the praises of the church throughout the promotional piece and discussed the ‘incredible’ training’s effect on her life.

“I became that annoying girl in the org who would just talk endlessly about how incredible training is and how phenomenal the internship is,” she wrote.

“I’m sure a few people couldn’t deal just like I couldn’t. But I won’t stop with that because now I KNOW.”

Isabella made headlines last year following her London wedding to church member Max Parker, as her adoptive mother Nicole Kidman did not attend despite being in the same city.

It followed more than a decade of separation following her parents’ divorce in 2001 amid constant rumours Nicole was kept at a clear distance due to the fact she wasn’t a Scientologist.
