Schapelle Corby's shock comment under David Warner's Instagram leaves fans in stitches

After the cricketer put out a plea for the return of his lost items, Schapelle couldn't resist a Qantas dig.

Schapelle Corby has written a comment under cricket star David Warner's latest Instagram post that has left Australians wheezing with laughter after David took to Instagram to plea for the return of his baggy green.

On January 2, the cricketer took to social media as a last resort to call for Qantas and the Australian public to help him locate his baggy green after his backpack was taken out of his luggage during transit.

"Hi all, this is my last resort, but my backpack, which contained my Baggy Green, has been taken from my luggage, which was transported to Melbourne airport and flown on Qantas to Sydney a few days ago," David captioned the post.

"Qantas has said they checked their cameras and have not seen anyone open our bags and take the backpack, however, they do have blind spots. If you are the person, who was either working for the company driving it to and from the airport or working for Qantas and have, by chance, just wanted the backpack, I have one for [sic]. I would be grateful if this were returned asap. Thanks."

In the video, David reiterates that if it's the backpack someone wanted, he's happy to give them the bag if they return his baggy greens.

While many people flooded the comments sympathising with David and condoning the person who did this, Schapelle Corby — who famously spent nine years in an Indonesian prison after being convicted of attempting to smuggle drugs into Bali via a boogie board bag —couldn't resist leaving a cheeky comment.

“Qantas! Well do I have a story for you,” Schapelle said in the comments, with her comment being liked over 9,000 times.

"Just spat out my drink," another person said. "No better comment can happen for 2024 f***ing hilarious," one fan commented.

Another person couldn't resist poking fun at David's situation. "It was Ocean Alley," they commented, after the lead singer of Ocean Alley was recently sprung shoplifting a drink bottle lid in New Zealand.

"Ocean Alley might know," another person joked.

Others took David's situation more seriously.
