In the first photo, a young Guthrie grinned at the camera while wearing a checkered collared shirt with a red patterned dress on top, while her sister stood behind her with a similarly unique outfit featuring an interesting pattern. Both girls had curly brown hair.
The second throwback photo looked to be taken a few years later, showing the sisters standing side by side again, smiling at the camera while hanging out in cute swimsuits. Along with her older sister Annie, Guthrie also has a brother named Cameron, although he wasn't present in the throwback photos.
Guthrie's sister is a writer and poet, and she released a collection of poetry in 2015 called The Good Dark. At a party to celebrate its release, the Today host cheered her sister on, saying, via People, "I’m excited for the world to get a taste of the sister I know and grew up with in our little Brady Bunch family.”
More recently, Guthrie opened up about her childhood experiences in her own way, releasing a memoir called Mostly What God Does: Reflections on Seeking and Finding His Love Everywhere, in February 2024. Although the book focuses on her faith, she talks a lot about personal experiences throughout her life.
