SAS Australia's Anthony Mundine quits for third time: 'I'm one of the best athletes'
The boxing champ has sensationally quit SAS Australia... again.
Anthony 'The Man' Mundine has sensationally quit SAS Australia, one night after he threatened to quit after losing a challenge to The Bachelor's Tim Robards.
The boxing champion ended up pulling the plug after failing to impress the Directing Staff during a challenge that involved him navigating another contestant, Abbey Holmes, through several buildings to safety.
Anthony failed to warn Abbey about the enemy holding a weapon behind an abandoned building and also didn't manage to get her to the safety vehicle, while he monitored her movements via drone.
After being unsuccessful in the challenge, Anthony deemed it as 'time to go'.
"I feel like a failure to myself. I'm too competitive... I'm ready to go now," he said, before farewelling his fellow competitors.
Handing over his armband to Ant Middleton, the SAS Australia Chief Inspector let him go this time after fighting to keep him in the previous night's episode when he first threatened to quit.
"I'm not going to keep you here. I want you to go out on a high. Just take each day as it comes," Ant said.

Anthony actually decided to remain on the show after he went to quit, walking back to join the other recruits.
However! You've got your whole seat, but you only need the edge of it!
Anthony then quit again at the end of the show, voluntarily withdrawing from the 'tough-as-nails' series.
"Walking away, I feel great. I feel that I've changed, and something has pushed me out of my comfort zone," he said.
"Doing a task, even though I didn't pass a lot of them, I actually learned there are certain things for certain people."

Anthony went on to set the record straight.
"So, I'm like one of the best athletes ever. I didn't say I was the best SAS fella," he continued. "I made it halfway through and I'm grateful for that."
