SAS Australia 2022 star Barry Hall lit on fire in shock new promo
SAS Australia has upped the ante once again in a new promo showing celebrity recruits for its upcoming 2022 season being lit on fire.
In the action-packed clip, several of the 17 star recruits including AFL icon Barry Hall are seen sprinting while bright orange and yellow flames stream off their backs.
Barry along with AFL Commentator Wayne Carey and rugby superstar Ellia Green all appear to be wearing fire-resistant overalls and head coverings for what is presumably one of the many extreme challenges throughout the show.
A disclaimer at the bottom of the screen reads: "DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME".
Elsewhere in the promo, two new DS (Directing Staff) members are introduced in retired US Navy SEAL Clint Emerson, who served in the unit that took out Osama Bin Laden, and former British Special Forces soldier Dean Stott who trained alongside Prince Harry.
They join returning DS Ollie Ollerton and Chief Instructor Ant Middleton who will put the famous Aussies through their paces in a series of physical and psychological tests from the real SAS selection process.
