Samantha Markle slams 'inappropriate' Harry and Meghan snaps

She’s the controversial half-sister of Meghan Markle who takes any opportunity to slam the Sussexes and Samantha Markle has once again launched a scathing attack on the former senior royals.

Samantha, who has reportedly not spoken to Meghan for over a decade, called the Sussexes recent Remembrance Day visit ‘highly inappropriate’, taking aim at them for “an exploitative photo opportunity over fallen heroes”.

Meghan and Harry made a private visit to the Los Angeles National Cemetery on Remembrance Sunday, after reports swirled that the royal family had denied Prince Harry’s request for them to lay a wreath on his behalf at the official ceremony in London.

"It was quite sad that rather than paying true gratitude by continuing duty and the legacy of honour, that there would be a photo opportunity,” Samantha Markle told UK’s talkRadio.

"It was highly inappropriate."

Samantha went on to say that she found the ‘photoshoot’ tasteless “especially in the wake of abandoning duty in the pursuit of fame in Hollywood and for a different life”.

Meghan Markle and her half-sister Samantha haven’t spoken for the past ten years.

Samantha has publicly called her a “self-obsessed” social climber and is said to be in the process of writing a book titled In the Shadows of the Duchess – a follow-up to her previous memoir, The Diary of Princess Pushy.

Meghan also fell out with her father, Thomas Markle, after he was caught setting up paparazzi photos just before the Sussexes May 19th wedding in 2018.

Since then, Thomas has appeared on numerous TV shows begging the Duchess to let him back into her life.

However, it’s thought Meghan was deeply hurt when her father released private letters she sent him back in August 2018.

In the letters, Meghan begged her father to stop ‘victimising’ her in public.

“Dad, I’m so heartbroken, I love you,” Meghan started the letter, which was published by the Mail on Sunday.

“I have one father. Please stop victimising me through the media so we can repair our relationship.”

In the letter, the Duchess spoke about her heartbreak at her dad and half-sister, Samantha Markle, exploiting her relationship for their personal gain.

“On a daily basis you fixated and clicked on the lies they were writing about me, especially those manufactured by your other daughter, who I barely know,” Meghan wrote in the letter, which was seen by the Daily Mail.

“You watched me silently suffer at the hands of your vicious lies. I crumbled inside.”

The former Suits actress went on to say that her heart was crushed ’into a million pieces’ by her father’s public interviews.
