Samantha Markle lashes out at 'Looney Clooney' for defending Meghan

She’s labelled Meghan Markle ‘fake’ and a ‘narcissist’ after the Duchess claimed she ‘barely knows’ her in a letter to their father, Thomas Markle.

And now Samantha Markle has set her sights on Hollywood actor George Clooney, who jumped to the pregnant 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex’s defence yesterday.

In an interview with Who magazine, George claimed Meghan Markle is being ‘vilified’ just like Diana was.

“It’s history repeating itself,” Clooney said.

“We’ve seen how that ends. I can’t tell you how frustrating that is, just seeing them broadcast a letter from a daughter to a father, she’s getting a raw deal there and I think it’s irresponsible and I’m surprised by that.”

Not one to take things lying down, Samantha Markle took to her Twitter account last night to blast Clooney’s comments.

“Hey Looney Clooney!” Samantha tweeted.

“Your lawyer wife should have taught you not to make statements without full facts.

“I doubt #GeorgeClooney Would ghost his mother for no legitimate reason. Be quiet Georgie.”

Meghan Markle’s letter to her father

Last week, five of Meghan Markle’s closest gal pals came out in support of their friend in an interview with People, claiming her father, Thomas was the one who cut the Duchess out of his life, saying he refused to answer her calls after her May 19th wedding.

Then Thomas hit back by releasing the five-page letter to The Mail on Sunday, in a move that many are saying has made their already fractured relationship irreparable.

In the letter, Meghan also labelled her half-sister Samantha as Thomas’ ‘other daughter’ and someone who she ‘barely knows’, which prompted Samantha to retaliate.

Samantha responds to Meghan’s letter

“Some narcissists were ‘only children’, others… wish they were,” Samantha said on Twitter, replying to a post about Meghan.

Her response also came with a plug for her upcoming book, In the Shadows of The Duchess, which is reportedly set to be released around the same time as the due date of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby – how convenient.

However, Samantha’s attack on her half sister didn’t end there, as she labelled Meghan’s letter totally ‘fake’.

“She can write all the fake, contrived letters she wants to show off her penmanship but that’s all it is,” the 54-year-old posted.

“Nobody lied about her, she lied about everyone and there’s plenty of proof out there in the world has seen her ghost everyone, this little letter does not fix what the world witnessed.”
