Sabrina Carpenter Favors Feathers in Backless JW Anderson Dress for Grammys 2025 Red Carpet

Sabrina Carpenter put on a sultry display at the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. The singer has already won her first award of the evening, taking home Best Pop Solo Performance for her summer hit “Espresso.”

Carpenter walked the carpet in a satin powder blue gown by JW Anderson, which featured a backless silhouette and feather accents. The pop star accessorized with platform peep-toe mules and diamond-encrusted jewelry, including drop earrings.

Carpenter was dressed by stylist Jared Ellner, who also counts Emma Chamberlain and Rachel Sennott as clients.

Wearing her blond tresses in a curly updo with bangs, the Grammy winner’s makeup consisted of white eyeshadow, pink blush and muted burgundy lip liner.

Last month, Carpenter paid homage to the flashy girl from Flushing for an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

The “Short n’ Sweet” artist wore what looked to be a replica of Fran Fine’s outfit from the pilot of “The Nanny,” a Lillie Rubin skirt suit featuring leopard print buttons and trim. Fran Drescher played the titular character in CBS‘ hit sitcom, which ran for six seasons.

Carpenter received five additional Grammy nominations at the 2025 ceremony, including Best Pop Vocal Album.

The 67th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, celebrated the best in music and raised funds for wildfire relief efforts in California and honoring first responders. Beyoncé led the nominations with a record-breaking 11 nods. Other top nominees included Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift.
