Royal fans notice 'astounding' detail during King Charles and Queen Camilla's Aussie visit

King Charles and Queen Camilla have very different styles of conversation with royal fans.

A royal fan has pointed out the 'astounding' difference between King Charles and Queen Camilla's interactions with the Aussie public. Taking to TikTok, Cassandra Keeley, who goes by @cassandrakeeley1 on the app, shared a video of the way Charles and Camilla greeted waiting fans.

"The contrast between Camilla and Charles is astounding!" she wrote on a video that showed King Charles having conversations with the crowd, while Camilla simply shook hands and moved down the line, without the same warmth.

Charles is heard speaking to some young Aussies about being in school and asking another about the seat they managed to find while they waited for him. One fan, possibly Cassandra, is heard saying, "Oh my God, I just met the King!"

As Camilla walks down the line, the fan tells her, "[It's an] honour to meet you," but Camilla doesn't acknowledge her and keeps walking.

"King Charles makes an effort and gives a crap," one user commented. "Camilla just doesn’t!"

"Love our King Charles and Queen Camilla 💛👑💛," another said. "We must remember Charles was born into it and Camilla only since her fifties."

"King Charles does actually care about his duties very much so. Camilla really hates it," a third claimed. "It is what it is."

"The king has 20 conversations going at once I love it," someone else said.

"Camilla’s like 'eww, peasants,'" another joked.

Some defended Camilla, with one user saying, "They are probably so tired, she is also a very nervous person you can tell that in a lot of things she does."

"I don't know if many people are aware but Camilla struggles with severe back pain caused by osteoporosis," another said. "Long periods of standing is absolute hell for her but she does it because it's her duty..."

"She’s an elderly lady. No two people age the same," a third said. "She does a wonderful job."

"Some people are just more natural at that stuff than others," someone else argued. "I don’t think she’s doing a bad job, she just doesn’t have the same social skill set as Charles."

Others pointed out that Charles was rocking some very cool sunglasses, with one user writing, "King Charles in his retro sunglasses is everything."

Another called him the "King of groovy shades" and someone else said, "Love his sunnies."
