King Charles and Queen Camilla heckled by Aussie protestors during royal visit: 'So disrespectful'
King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived in Sydney on Friday night to begin their tour of Australia.
King Charles and Queen Camilla started their royal tour of Australia in North Sydney on Sunday morning for a church service, commemorating the visit with a gushing Instagram post. The official royal family Instagram account shared a video of the monarch meeting excited Australian fans.
"Thank you to everyone who came out to St Thomas’ Church this morning to say hello to Their Majesties, as their first day of engagements in Australia got underway," the Instagram post read. However, it failed to reference one controversial detail.

Although the royal family’s post suggested the visit went smoothly, the church was surrounded by groups of Pro-Palestine and Indigenous protestors who heckled the couple as they arrived.
“Not our King,” the groups chanted whilst holding banners reading “decolonise” and “empire built on genocide”.
Footage of the protestors heckling the royal couple as they arrived at the church has since caused mass debate on TikTok.
“I couldn’t care less what the royal family do, they don’t have any impact on Australia. If Australia leaves [the commonwealth] my life doesn’t change,” commented one person, whereas many others wrote, “long live my King”.
"Really what’s wrong with the young Australians so disrespectful to King Charles," another said.
"Like it or not if you are a citizen he is our king," someone else added.
"Not a fan myself," another wrote, adding, "WTF this is disrespectful though."
"Who gives a hoot about 'em in Australia," one person said.
