Robert Irwin rumoured to host major reality TV show in 2024
The Wildlife Warrior is said to be taking on a brand new challenge next year.
He’s been flexing his TV muscles as a fill-in weather presenter on Sunrise over the past year, and now Robert Irwin is reportedly set to host one of Australia’s most popular reality shows.
The 19-year-old has been tipped as Dr Chris Brown’s replacement on the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, according to TV Blackbox.
While the gig would certainly be a major career change for Robert, the publication points out that his casting “makes a lot of sense due to the use of wild animals in challenges”.
When contacted for comment, a Network 10 spokesperson told Yahoo Lifestyle: “In true style for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, the guessing game of who is in the jungle is already afoot with speculation galore as to who will fill those very big shoes for Australia's most sought-after hosting gig.
“But you know how this goes, just like the celebrities in the camp, we can neither confirm nor deny any rumours surrounding a new jungle host. For now, we'll just have to keep you hanging until our intimate Upfront event reveals all.”

Peter Helliar, Joel Creasey, Beau Ryan and Sam Pang have all previously been rumoured to stand alongside Julia Morris in the upcoming tenth season of the reality show.
Woman’s Day also reported last month that Logie-winning sports reporter Tony Armstrong was the current frontrunner to replace Chris.
'New adventure'
Julia Morris told Yahoo Lifestyle in June that while she’s still “very sad” about the fact that Chris won’t be returning to the show, she’s looking forward to working alongside a brand new host.
“I’m excited for the new adventure of what is in store, I don’t know who that’s going to be yet,” she said.
“We start chemistry testing pretty soon with a number of different people - not even a number of different people, I think there’s kind of a party of six. And from there we’ll just work out where that best chemistry is and start a new adventure.”
Julia added that she has a “total dream pick” of who she wants to become her new co-host, although she won't reveal their name in case it doesn’t come to fruition.
“But whoever that person is is going to have a huge effect on whether I’m working over the next few years, so I want it to work,” she admitted.

Chris announced in February that he had signed a deal with Channel Seven and would be leaving Network 10 after hosting I’m A Celebrity for the past nine years.
It’s since been revealed that he will host a brand new renovation reality show for Seven titled Dream Home, as well as a yet-to-be-titled adventure series where he travels around the globe “in the pursuit of the ultimate animal encounter”.
