Rita Ora poses topless to promote new music: 'Killing it'

The UK singer has teased new music.

Pop singer Rita Ora has posed topless to promote her newest single You Only Love Me, set to be released later this month. The star, 32, stripped to just her skimpy underwear for the cover art.

Sharing the image on Instagram, the star is seen sitting on a bed while leaning forward to hold her phone. Her curly hair drapes around her body, keeping her bare chest covered from view.

The star’s body tattoo along the side of her torso is visible, and her pink underwear adds a pop of colour. A snippet of the star’s new song plays in the background.

“So so so SO excited to finally announce my new single YOU ONLY LOVE ME. Out January 27th! I’m back, baaaaby. Pre-save it now, link in bio for you,” she wrote in the caption.

The Voice coach sent fans wild with her surprise post, with many flocking to the comment section to discuss the song.

“Yesss Rita YOU ONLY LOVE ME sounds incredible. So proud,” a fan gushed.

“You’re killing this year queen,” another added.

“Ughhh I could not be more excited to have you back!” a third exclaimed.

“Sounds so good! Keep up the great work,” remarked another.

The British singer also shared a longer snippet on TikTok, where she was dressed as a bride and mimed the words.

She sported a tall, elaborate undo and wore a big tulle veil over her face. The star sported dark, dramatic purple eyeshadow and accessorised with ear cuffs.

Her strapless dress seemed to have lots of volume and layers, and the look could be for an upcoming music video or part of the promotional rollout.

Rita's daring fashion risk

This comes after the star divided fans with her racy see-through outfit. The pop star made a splash at a pre-Golden Globes party wearing a sheer Rodarte purple lace dress and opted to go without a bra.

Rita wore a set of visible skimpy black underwear under the dress and added a pair of strappy black heels. The dress boasted a scalloped neckline with thin spaghetti straps sitting on the star’s shoulders.

Her polarising dress attracted both critics and fans, with her ‘attention-seeking’ designer outfit being compared to “curtains”.

“She should have wore [the] same colour [underwear] as the see-through dress at the very least…black doesn’t look right,” one person wrote on social media.

“Not cute or classy at all. Fire the stylist,” another added.

“Nope, not a good look,” a third chimed in.
