Rebel Wilson stuns in see-through top while 'inspiring' Aussie talent

Rebel Wilson has returned to her roots, giving back to the theatre company that helped kickstart her career when she was young. Each year, the star awards a scholarship called the Rebel Wilson Comedy Commission through the theatre, allowing up-and-coming writers to work on a creative idea.

She has been visiting Australia to hold auditions for a film version of The Deb, a musical written by Hannah Reilly, who won the scholarship in 2019. The show premiered at the Australian Theatre for Young People, where the Aussie star had her start in 1999.

In a sweet Instagram post, Rebel shared a snap of herself and Nikita Waldron, the current scholarship holder.

In the photo, the Pitch Perfect star is seen smiling at The Rebel Theatre in Sydney, while wearing a see-through olive green mesh sweater.

Her dark bra is visible under the stylish number, making her look relaxed and approachable.

“So nice to catch up with Nikita Waldron, the current holder of my scholarship at ATYP theatre and an incredible young Australian talent!” she wrote in the caption.

“I held auditions at The Rebel Theatre for a new project for next year and it’s such a creative and inspiring place. If you haven’t been yet to The Rebel in Sydney, check out the program The Australian Theatre for Young People has and see the next generation of Aussie stars shine.”

Writer and actor Nikita has been putting her time as the scholarship winner towards writing a theatre piece, with support from both ATYP and Rebel herself. “Such amazing opportunities for young Australian actors. Thank you Rebel and ATYP theatre for all your generosity and support,” Nikita wrote on the Instagram post.

Fans adored the Senior Year star’s casual look, with people describing the sweater as “awesome” and “fabulous”.

“Look at you in that top!!! I can’t wait to feel good enough to wear that,” one fan wrote.

“Great work Rebel, you look awesome and healthy,” another added.

“I want that sweater, where did you get it from?” a third asked.

Others praised the actress for her inspirational move to support and nurture local talent.

“Only seems like yesterday you were auditioning right in front of me to apply for much the same from ATYP! I’m very happy with my decision I can tell you! You are a great comedy writer too,” one person gushed.

“So glad to see you doing something like this. Education and opportunity is important for inspiring artists,” another wrote.

“What you have done in the community is amazing. God bless you!” a third remarked.
