Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Go for High-Contrast Couple Style in Black and White Looks During N.Y.C. Outing

The couple — and parents to sons RZA and Riot Rose — stepped out to dine at Ambra on Oct. 5

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are proving that fashion opposites attract!

While stepping out in New York City on Saturday, Oct. 5, the couple opted for a high-contrast look, with the “Love on the Brain” singer, 36, rocking nearly all-black and the “Sundress” rapper, also 36, acting as her fashion foil in a bright white coat.

For their night out at Italian spot Ambra, Rihanna wore an oversized black puffer coat with an equally oversized collar, which she appeared to layer over a matching mini dress.

Rounding out the almost monochrome outfit, the Fenty founder paired the ensemble with a black hat and simple stilettos.

To accessorize a bit more, Rihanna leveled up the look with a stack of chunky gold necklaces and added a subtle pop of color with a pair of red-tinted shades from Dolce & Gabbana’s new Sharped collection.

Rocky, meanwhile, looked classically cool in a knee-length, double-breasted trench coat in a shade of bright white.

The rapper and dad of two layered the jacket over a simple white shirt, black trousers and a maroon tie, which he complemented with dress shoes in a similar shade.

The evening out for the musicians — who are known for their stylish date nights, matching or otherwise — comes shortly after Rihanna shared a rare glimpse into their home life with sons RZA, 2, and, Riot Rose, 14 months.

On Sept. 27, the mom admitted alongside a video of RZA tries to flee his playpen that “being a boy mom is an Olympic sport."

In the clip, the toddler attempted — and ultimately succeeded at — escaping the pen while his mom filmed him, seemingly in disbelief.

The couple’s N.Y.C. outing also comes after Rocky made headlines for his sweet words for his partner.

In August, the rapper told Billboard that he doesn't know if there's "a more perfect person" than the “Umbrella” singer.

While discussing how they strike balance amid their hectic work lives, Rocky said, “It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules.”

But, he said of Rihanna, "I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that."

Rocky also noted that  when their schedules are "freed up,” the couple spends the "most time together"

"It’s all understanding and compatibility," he added.
