‘Righteous Gemstones’ Sets Season 4 Release Date, Drops First Teaser for Final Episodes
HBO has set the official premiere date for the final season of “The Righteous Gemstones.”
The comedy series returns with new episodes on March 9. As Variety previously reported, the fourth season of the popular series will be its last.

HBO has also released the first teaser trailer for the fourth season. In it, Baby Billy (Walton Goggins) is trying to get his TV series about a teenage Jesus off the ground, while Eli Gemstone (John Goodman) is drinking away his life on a yacht.

The official logline for Season 4 states, “‘The Righteous Gemstones’ tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work. Despite constant bickering, Gemstone family ties run deep, and this season, the family’s codependence is tested as they attempt to move forward without letting go of their storied past.”
The cast includes: Danny McBride, Adam Devine, Goodman, Edi Patterson, Cassidy Freeman, Tim Baltz, Tony Cavalero, Greg Alan Williams, Skyler Gisondo, Goggins, Jennifer Nettles, James DuMont, Jody Hill, Troy Hogan, Valyn Hall, Kelton DuMont, Gavin Munn, Megan Mullally, Arden Myrin, and Seann William Scott.
McBride created the series and serves as a director and executive producer. Hill, David Gordon Green, and Jonathan Watson also direct and executive produce. John Carcieri, Jeff Fradley, and Brandon James are all executive producers. David Brightbill produces, while Kevin Barnett,, Patterson, and Chris Pappas are consulting producers.
