Richard Branson calls out The Project host for 'saucy' questions

"I didn't quite mean adults only in the way you mean it."

Sir Richard Branson was left surprised on Tuesday night during his appearance on The Project, thanks to Sarah Harris' X-rated questions about his 'adults only' cruise.

The billionaire was on the show to promote his Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady cruise, with Sarah asking, "It's adults only for this cruise. Why do you hate children?"

Richard laughed awkwardly, responding, "There are lots of cruise companies that cater to kids, obviously Disney being famous among them, and there are very few that cater to adults."

He explained there would be "adult entertainment" on the cruise, including gyms, high-end restaurants and massages.

Sarah joked that the "adults only" had some "saucy connotations", with Richard responding, "I didn't quite mean adults only in the way you mean it."

The host was left embarrassed, saying that wasn't what she meant, with her co-hosts telling her to get her "mind out of the gutter".

He added there would be "every kind of entertainment that you want, you'll find on Virgin Voyages, except maybe..."

The cruise even has an on-board tattoo parlour and a feature where guests can request a glass of champagne anywhere on the boat with their phones.

Instagram users loved the idea of child-free cruising, with one user writing, "Richie is on to something."

"Child-free! Absolute genius," another said.

"Best cruise ship ever!" a third said. "No kids = BIG FUN!!!! Who cares that kids aren't allowed that's the whole point of having no kids."

"It's brilliant there are enough family friendly cruises out there," someone else added.

"Better without kids, there's plenty if cruises which cater for kids," another said. "Nothing saucy about adults only."
