RHOM star Jackie Gillies reveals clash with new cast: 'Upset me'

Celebrity psychic Jackie Gillies has given fans of The Real Housewives of Melbourne a little taster of the drama to come on season five before it all kicks off on Sunday night.

With the departure of Lydia Schiavello, Gina Liano, Venus Behbahani-Clark and Sally Bloomfield, Jackie and her fellow RHOM 'OGs' — Janet Roach and Gamble Breaux — are set to welcome four new faces.

New housewives, new drama

The new cast members are: 'Champagne dame' Kyla Kirkpatrick, businesswoman Simone Elliott, yoga instructor Cherry Dipietrantonio and global news anchor Anjali Rao.

But with the introduction of a quartet of successful, strong and sassy housewives comes new personalities, new opinions and a whole new dynamic. Which can — you guessed it — cause some major friction.

During a livestream Q&A hosted by comedian Joel Creasey on Thursday night, mum-to-be Jackie spilled the tea on a key moment from the season five trailer which sees her looking shocked.

Curious as to the cause of Jackie's gobsmacked expression, Joel attempted to glean some details from the ex-I'm A Celebrity... star and she was more than happy to reveal what (or who) had 'upset' her.

"I feel like when the four new housewives come in — Simone, Cherry, Anjali and Kyla — I'm very much a person that will get to know you individually and I'll base you upon how you treat me and vice versa," Jackie began.

She went on to explain how she was 'very open-minded' about the new cast members and even encouraged Janet and Gamble to 'give everyone a chance'.

Things changed, however, after a she-said, she-said 'situation' occurred in which Jackie was accused of dissing the newbies' outfits — something she denies.

"I was very much pro for all these women and then there was a situation that took place where somebody had said that I was gossiping about the other women about [...] their fashion and clothing on the balcony that was off-camera.

"It upset me because the first thing is, if I think your outfit's naff I'll probably say it to your face, I'm not going to say it behind your back. And the second thing is, I didn't say anything about these ladies at all.

"I don't go around gossiping and bitching and carrying on because it's just not my vibe. That's just not what I do."

Jackie didn't go so far as to name those involved in the tiff, so we guess we'll have to tune in to find out.

Elsewhere in the Q&A, Joel quizzed Gamble about her Instagram stoush with Anjali over a dress.

"I don't know what was the problem," Gamble told Joel. "They said, 'You put a photo up of her [Anjali] in a dress that she doesn't like'.

"And I said, 'I didn't know she didn't like it!'"

Real Housewives of Melbourne begins Sunday 10th October at 8.30pm on FOX ARENA
