The moment Martha pours wine all over Cyrell at MAFS reunion

It seems revenge will be the main course at the two-part Married at First Sight reunion special.

All 24 contestants will return for Sunday and Monday’s episodes, and the explosive teaser sees Martha empty her wine glass all over Cyrell.

“I’m gonna pour my drink on her,” Martha casually says at the dinner table, before standing up and confidently walking towards Cyrell, with a glass of red in hand.

In a seperate promo (which you can watch at the bottom of this article), Ines can be heard telling Martha, “Don’t do it.”

But needless to say, she doesn’t heed that warning and all hell breaks loose. ‘Cyclone Cyrell’ is seen having to be restrained by her male co-stars and Martha walks away with a red wine stain on her outfit as well.

In a scene that we can only assume happens earlier in the night, Cyrell tells Martha, “I’m just going to say it now. You are as fake as your nose, lip and boob job.”

“It’s a shame you couldn’t find a plastic surgeon that could fix your personality because that’s what’s the fakest”.

The drama between Martha and Cyrell is only some of the drama that goes down, with a report circulating that two of the grooms also get physical at the dinner party and need to be separated by producers.

Reunion part two

While we were prepared for some drama when the cast got back together, we weren’t expecting the experts to step up and finally call out some of the bad behaviour going on behind the scenes.

The reunion is in two parts, a dinner party – enter Cyrell, Martha and the red wine – and a less alcohol-fuelled sit down where the experts reveal some hard truths.

In this segment, we’ll see Ines break down in tears, and Jess face the spotlight when footage of her propositioning Nic is aired in front of the group.

To make matters worse, it comes after Jess reassured her new partner Dan that she didn’t get involved with him because she was looking for ‘an out’ from her relationship with Mick – something increasingly hard to believe considering she first hit on Dan after being rejected by Nic earlier that same night.

The glassing incident

Rumours have been swirling for weeks that there would be a glassing incident at the reunion dinner party, however Nic recently said that was a slight exaggeration.

“[It’s] not quite an actual glassing,” Nic told Grant Denyer – who started the glassing rumours – on radio. “But, yeah some intense stuff happened that’s for sure”.

When pressed on who was involved in the incident, Nic revealed: “I’m not going to say who lunged at who, but you can imagine there was a ‘Cyclone’ involved.”

Grant originally aired the glassing rumours after he was told details by a “very reliable source” who was at the reunion.

“They [the cast] all hate each other so much more now… so it kicks off next level. There is a major fight, a physical fight, girl fight,” he said.

“So one of the contestants walks over and pours a full glass of alcohol on top of another person’s head, then the glass in hand is smashed on the table.

“And then she goes for the face of the person who spilled the wine.”

Grant was convinced the two women involved were Cyrell and Ines, but it seems more likely the incident is referring to Cyrell and Martha. We’ll have to wait and see if things escalate further.

We can’t wait for Sunday.
