The men also get physical at messy MAFS reunion

Things get messy at the Married at First Sight reunion dinner party when Cyrell throws a glass of red wine onto Martha’s all-white outfit.

But according to an insider, that isn’t the only physical altercation that takes place that night.

Apparently, two of the men almost come to blows when the entire season’s cast are brought back together.

“There’s a war of words that leaves two grooms needing to be physically separated by producers,” a source tells OK! magazine.

In the promo for the explosive episode, a fired-up Cyrell is seen struggling as she’s restrained by three men, presumably directly after Martha walks away with red wine all over her.

The reunion is broken up into two parts; the explosive dinner party, and a less alcohol-fuelled sit down where the experts reveal some hard truths.

It’s unclear which comes first, but if it’s the sit down – where the group are shown footage of Jess propositioning Nic, and Ines is reduced to tears – there’s a good chance the dinner party fighting has its roots in what is discussed there.

The glassing incident

Rumours have been swirling for weeks that there would be a glassing incident at the reunion dinner party, however Nic recently said that was a slight exaggeration.

“[It’s] not quite an actual glassing,” Nic told Grant Denyer – who started the glassing rumours – on radio. “But, yeah some intense stuff happened that’s for sure”.

When pressed on who was involved in the incident, Nic revealed: “I’m not going to say who lunged at who, but you can imagine there was a ‘Cyclone’ involved.”

Grant originally aired the glassing rumours after he was told details by a “very reliable source” who was at the reunion.

“They [the cast] all hate each other so much more now… so it kicks off next level. There is a major fight, a physical fight, girl fight,” he said.

“So one of the contestants walks over and pours a full glass of alcohol on top of another person’s head, then the glass in hand is smashed on the table.

“And then she goes for the face of the person who spilled the wine.”

Grant was convinced the two women involved were Cyrell and Ines, but it seems more likely the incident is referring to Cyrell throwing wine at Martha. We’ll have to wait and see if things escalate further.
