Relationship contract goes viral after woman makes 22 rules for boyfriend

Usually, it’s each to their own when it comes to relationships but in this instance, the internet has had plenty to say about one girlfriend’s decision to give her man a lengthy list of ‘rules’ to follow.

The list – that features 22 bullet points of things her boyfriend is not allowed to do – was found by Twitter user @kkeyes96 after the man traded in his car with it still inside.

“Some poor guy traded in his car and he had a contract from his girlfriend in it,” @kkeyes96 shared online.

The ‘controlling’ rules varied from things like, “You are not to have a single girl’s phone number,” to “You are not allowed to drink unless I am with you,” and even, “You are not to get mad at me about a single thing ever again.”

She then banned her boyfriend from hanging with his friend ‘Keegan’ and demands he only sees his other friends no more than two times a week but so long as he isn’t ditching her of course.

And then to show she isn’t just all rules and no play she included this point, “If I say ‘jump’ you say ‘how high princess.'”

The original post has since been deleted yet it wasn’t before savvy social media users had their say.

“Yikes, get a new girlfriend,” one user said, according to Bored Panda.

Another said: “This isn’t cute or sweet or just for anyone’s own good, this is controlling.”

Meanwhile, others were trying to work out what might have justified such an intense list of rules by suggesting things like: “Guessing he cheated and this is the negotiation after”.

“A lot of domestic violence situations start with a list like this,” another person commented.
