This Refreshing Apple Cocktail Will Have You Savoring Fall
Falling somewhere on the spectrum between a margarita and a whiskey sour, A Walk in the Orchard combines reposado tequila with autumnal ingredients like fresh apple juice, pomegranate, and maple syrup to perfectly capture the flavors of fall without sacrificing the acidity and brightness of a good sour-style cocktail.
I highly recommend you use freshly squeezed apple juice if at all possible. It'll really elevate the cocktail, transporting you to an orchard on a sunny fall afternoon.

To Make Dried Apple Wheels:
Preheat oven to 175°F. Using a mandolin or a sharp knife, cut 2 apples into thin slices approximately 1/8-inch thick. Combine 2 tablespoons lemon juice with 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl. Dunk each apple slice into the lemon juice mixture, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake, flipping the slices halfway through, until the apples are completely dried, about 2 hours. Allow apples to cool, then store them in an airtight container.
