At the 2025 Golden Globes, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Nikki Glaser, Ariana Grande, Kristen Bell and more guests took cues from the name of the award show and embraced on-theme gilded dresses on the red carpet on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Cate Blanchett
Cate Blanchett attended the red carpet in a gold sequin looked by Louis Vuitton. She originally wore the dress at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, which included a draped bodice with a long train and a cinched waistline. The look was completed with a cropped shawl-like epaulet with rhinestone detailing.
Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling opted for a floor-length metallic gold gown by Ashi Studio. The dress featured a strapless neckline and a form-fitting bodice with a subtle slit just below the actor’s calf. The dress appeared to be composed of small tinsel-like gold pieces and was adorned in an array of small clear crystals.
Nikki Glaser
Emcee for the evening, Nikki Glaser strolled on the carpet in an elegant Prabal Gurung gown. It featured a sweetheart neckline with a fitted bodice. The skirt effortlessly draped from her waist and was seemingly suspended by a floral accent on the waist. Glaser worked with celebrity makeup artist Jenna Kristina for her glam, which was composed of products from Maybelline New York.
Ariana Grande
Styled by Mimi Cutrell, Ariana Grande wore an archival Hubert de Givenhy dress from the haute couture spring 1966 collection. It featured a regency era-like silhouette with an ornately detailed upper and a skirt with draped layers, which seemed to mimic the petals of a flower. The look was completed with white opera gloves.
Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell wore an Ashi Studios gown in an elegant champagne hue. The dress featured a rounded neckline, a corseted bodice and a chic peplum waistline. The skirt was a slender tube.
Elle Fanning
Elle Fanning wore an eye-catching Balmain look that featured leopard-print detailing and a dramatic ball gown skirt. The look was accented with Cartier jewelry.
Eiza González
“Ash” actor Eiza González appeared on the red carpet in a Gucci look that featured an open back and boat neckline. The dress was composed of an ensemble of gold metallic sequins, which made for an eye-catching shine on the carpet. The actor completed the look with jewelry by David Yurman and dramatic Hollywood waves.
Deirdre O’Connell
Deirdre O’Connell walked the red carpet in a gold two-piece suit. The look was paired with a series of black accents, including her silk blouse with lace detailing, a Tyler Ellis Ava Box bag and sandals.
Lucia Aniello
