A stunning view? Check. Figure-hugging activewear? Check. An Aussie star who’s shed almost 20kg? Check and check.
Rebell Wilson was ticking all the boxes for an Insta-worthy moment on Tuesday morning when she shared a snap of herself posing at the top of the picturesque Barrenjoey Head in Sydney’s Palm Beach.
The 40-year-old actor donned a sky blue skin-tight top and leggings combo by GymShark for Monday’s trek up to the historic Barrenjoey lighthouse with a male friend.
The duo made sure to capture a photo together and several more of Rebel, who beamed at the camera with one hand on her slimmed-down waist.
“Closer each day...” the funny lady captioned the pics in a nod to the theme tune of iconic Aussie soap Home & Away which is filmed at the same stunning northern beaches locale.
Her fans on Instagram couldn’t contain their praise for her latest pic.
“Looking fabulous in sea blue,” wrote one.
“You look sooo good!!!” said another.
Rebel’s personal trainer, Jono Castano Acero, added his compliments, too.
“Can officially say you CRUSHED MONDAY,” he wrote.
Her Pitch Perfect co-star Alexis Knapp called her a ‘hottie,’ while friend and TV host Carly Steel said she was ‘snatched’.
Rebel’s ‘Year of Health’
Back in January, the Pitch Perfect star declared that 2020 would be ‘The Year of Health’ and she’s been flaunting the results of her diet and fitness efforts ever since.
Earlier in July, Rebel shared a pic of herself looking chic in an all-black outfit as she posed in front of the water.
Back in May, she turned up the heat by posting a series of steamy snaps of herself wearing a light blue hoodie entirely unzipped to reveal her black bra.
“Even if you have to crawl towards your goals, keep going x it will be worth it,” Rebel captioned the photos.
The Mayr Method
People Magazine reports Rebel has lost 18kg so far since visiting Austria's luxury medical detox and wellness centre VivaMayr last year.
The mag reports that Rebel got "amazing results" by following the Mayr Method diet plan and has continued ever since.
The diet is based on the Mayr Cure by Dr Franz Xaver Mayr, an Austrian physician who believed that most people are poisoning their digestives systems with the type of food they eat and how they eat them.
The diet eliminates snacking, reduces gluten and dairy products and changes how clients chew their food.
A source told People, "[Rebel] exercises with a personal trainer up to six times a week, goes on walks and is trying to up her protein intake nutritionally."
“I know she's also been working on conquering her emotional eating patterns of behaviour.”
Rebel revealed on Instagram in May that her goal weight is 75kg.
