Actress Rebel Wilson is sharing her dramatic weight loss and her rigorous workout routine.
With 2020 barely underway, the Cats actress is undoubtedly inspiring those having a hard time sticking to their New Years resolutions.
Last week, Jono Castano Acero, an Australian fitness trainer, posted a picture of himself with a smiling — and slimmer — Wilson on Instagram.
In a video in the post, Wilson can be seen putting in some work with heavy ropes in the gym.
“Friday vibes but @rebelwilson has been putting in the yards 7 days a week! Proud of you gurl ❤️” Acero captioned the post.
Two weeks ago, Wilson took to her personal Instagram account to proclaim that in 2020, she would focus on her health by exercising, drinking more water and improving her diet.
“Okay so for me 2020 is going to be called ‘The Year of Health’ - so I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had but I’m going to do it! Who’s with me in making some positive changes this year?” wrote Wilson.
In a December interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 39-year-old actress also attributed her weight loss to her recent role in Cats, which hit theaters in late 2019.
“I lost eight pounds, shooting my number, in four days," Wilson said. "One, because there's a lot of physicality... but also, they heated up the set very high, to almost 100 Fahrenheit, so that we could never cool down. These people are like, the best dancers in the whole world, so they can't cool their muscles down or they could get an injury and they'd be out of the film... So they'd heat up the set like a sauna so we would never cool down, but made it pretty uncomfortable."
It looks like Wilson’s journey is just beginning.
