Yahoo Lifestyle Priyanka Chopra offers date-night dressing inspiration in a Little Black Dress
Priyanka Chopra proved that monochrome is anything but boring by wearing an all-black outfit for a recent date night with husband Nick Jonas.
The couple were spotted out in New York City this week. As they walked side-by-side, Chopra looked striking in an outfit composed of sleek black pieces. This included a wrap mini dress featuring an asymmetrical neckline and hemline. Stitched at the left hip was a grey crochet detail, which extended into fringed threads that fell down to below her knees.
Chopra continued to up the ante with other black accents, including an oversized leather biker jacket, slouchy knee-high leather boots with crisscrossing lace-up straps, and a small leather handbag with a gold top handle.
Jonas co-ordinated with his wife in his own all-black look that included a collared top, a zip-up jacket, straight-leg trousers, and boots.
Chopra previously discussed how she approaches fashion in a 2017 interview with Bazaar. “My personal style is easy, comfortable, and unique to me – it’s important to understand what works for you and be true to who you are,” she said. “I think I experiment far more now than I did before. Over the years, I began to understand what suits me and stopped following fashion trends blindly. That understanding helps me to carry what I am wearing with confidence. I have also come to enjoy the process, so prepping and being on the red carpet is so much more fun now.”
