Princess Charlotte's touching note to 'Granny Diana'

Royal fans have been left in tears online after reading Princess Charlotte’s sweet tribute to Princess Diana.

The five-year-old and her two brothers, Prince George, seven, and Prince Louis, two, all put pen to paper for Mother’s Day in the UK, however it was Princess Charlotte’s note that left everyone weeping.

The Kensington Royal Instagram account uploaded the cards to their account, with Princess Charlotte writing in hers: “Dear Granny Diana, I am thinking of you on Mother’s Day. I love you very much. Papa is missing you. Lot’s of love Charlotte xxxxxxxxx”.

Royal fans thought it was a beautiful way for the royal children to honour their late grandmother.

“This actually brought tears to my eyes....absolutely beautiful,” one person wrote.

“That’s so beautiful, and Charlotte writing “Papa is missing you” made me cry,” another said.

“That is amazing ... she would be so proud of them,” another wrote.

The Cambridge’s explained the cards in the caption of the post, writing: “This year Mother’s Day will be different once again.

“Many of us will be apart from our loved ones, but looking forward to a time in the not too distant future when we can give our mother a hug again.

“But for those experiencing bereavement, today may be particularly challenging.

“Each year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards remembering their Granny, Diana, for William.

“Whatever your circumstances, we are thinking of you this Mother’s Day .”

The post comes just days after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry gave an explosive tell-all interview to Oprah where they made a series of allegations against the royal family.

Among those allegations was that Kate Middleton made Meghan Markle cry over flower girl dresses in the lead up to the Sussexes wedding in 2018.

Prince Harry also revealed that he and Prince William need ‘space’ between them to mend their broken relationship.
