Prince Harry's 'deeply personal note' for Prince Charles
The demise of their relationship has played out in front of the public but now it’s been revealed that Prince Harry reportedly tried to patch things up with his father, Prince Charles, in private before Prince Philip’s funeral.
The Duke of Sussex jetted into the UK just hours after his grandfather had passed away, where he isolated at Frogmore Cottage for five days.
According to The Mirror, Prince Harry wrote a ‘deeply personal note’ to Prince Charles before the funeral, after a "complete communication breakdown" between them.
The publication reports the note "outlined his reasons for leaving" and promised to "respect the institution".
Indeed, Prince Harry stated in his interview with Oprah Winfrey that his father had stopped taking his phone calls.
During the explosive chat, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also claimed an unnamed member of the royal family commented on what colour Archie’s skin would be when he was born and Meghan Markle claimed the institution failed to help her when she told them she was feeling suicidal.

Just days after the interview, Prince William denied the accusations, telling reporters that they are “not a racist family”.
On Saturday, Prince Harry was reunited with his family for the funeral of Prince Philip, which saw him walking behind the coffin, separated from his brother by their cousin, Peter Phillips.
Then, after the service, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry were spotted chatting as they made the journey by foot back to Windsor Castle.
Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry are believed to have had a two-hour meeting to air out their thoughts. It’s not known if it was before or after the funeral.
Prince Charles reportedly held a private two-hour talk with his sons, as according to The Sun, it’s what Prince Philip would have wanted.
Rumours have started swirling that Prince Harry may stick around for his grandmother the Queen’s 95th birthday on Wednesday.
However, as Meghan is about to give birth to their second child any day now, it’s also highly likely the duke will be on the next plane back to LA.
