Prince Harry rushes home to Meghan one day after statue unveiling

Prince Harry definitely seems to have made his recent trip back home a very brief one, having spent one week in the UK including five days in quarantine.

The Duke Of Sussex, who returned from Los Angeles to London last weekend, was spotted travelling to the airport on Friday.

Harry’s black Volkswagen was seen driving with a police escort from Frogmore Cottage - where he stayed during his trip with his cousin Princess Eugenie - to the tarmac of Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport.

After completing five days quarantine, the 36-year-old then spent two days out and about in England, before returning to California to be with wife Meghan Markle and their two children.

Harry had arrived back home for the unveiling of a statue of his late mother Princess Diana to celebrate what would have been her 60th birthday.

He and his brother Prince William reunited for the special day, standing shoulder-to-shoulder despite their royal ‘rift’ playing out over the past few years.

The small, private ceremony also included Princess Diana’s siblings, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, Lady Jane Fellowes and Charles, the 9th Earl Spencer.

In a rare joint statement, Prince William and Prince Harry said: "Today, on what would have been our Mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.

"Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.”

Despite flying home solely for the memorial event, Harry reportedly left the Kensington Palace Pavilion after just 20 minutes and ‘one polite drink’.

There are unconfirmed reports that Harry met with the Queen during his time in the UK, as well as rumours of a ‘lad’s lunch’ organised by former school and Army friends.

On his first day out of quarantine, the new dad thrilled the winners of the WellChild Awards when he showed up with pop singers Ed Sheeran and Anne-Marie.

Prince Harry, whose wife Meghan gave birth to daughter Lilibet last month, opened up about becoming a father-of-two while talking with Ed Sheeran, who welcomed a baby girl, Lyra Antarctica, with wife Cherry Seaborn last year.

“Congratulations, a girl right?” asked Ed, according to Hello! Magazine.

“We just had a little girl ten months ago now. You're still in the trenches now! How do you manage with two?”

Prince Harry replied: "Two is definitely a juggle.”

“We've been lucky so far, she's very chilled and seems happy to just sit there while Archie is running around like crazy.”
