This Political Thriller Is The Top Show On Netflix Right Now
“The Diplomat” is currently the most popular show on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.
The political thriller stars Keri Russell as a career diplomat navigating her new role as United States ambassador to the United Kingdom amid international crises and the deterioration of her marriage. The second season premiered on Oct. 31 with the release of all six episodes.
“The Diplomat,” which has already been renewed for a third season, also stars Rufus Sewell, Allison Janney, David Gyasi and Ali Ahn.

“Lioness”
“Lioness” is trending on Paramount+ following the premiere of the second season on Oct. 2.
Created by Taylor Sheridan, the spy thriller follows a CIA operative (played by Zoe Saldaña) who recruits women agents for undercover missions. The cast also includes Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Kelly.
“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place”
“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” debuted Disney+ on Oct. 30. A spin-off and sequel to the teen sitcom “Wizards of Waverly Place,” the new comedy revolves around the character of Justin Russo (played by David Henrie).
Although the show introduces many new characters, it also features guest appearances by original series cast members like Selena Gomez, Maria Canals-Barrera, David DeLuise and Jake T. Austin.
“Somebody Somewhere”
“Somebody Somewhere” is one of the most popular shows on Max at the moment following the premiere of the third and final season on Oct. 27.
Inspired by the life of comedian Bridget Everett, the dramedy series stars Everett as a woman in her 40s dealing with the complexities of grief and happiness in her hometown of Manhattan, Kansas.
“You Would Do It Too”
The Spanish thriller series “You Would Do It Too” aka “Tú También lo Harías” became available to U.S. audiences after joining Apple TV+ on Oct. 30.
The show focuses on an armed robbery on a bus line that does not go as planned and the police effort to uncover the truth. New episodes will drop on Wednesdays.
