Poh Ling Yeow reveals tragic detail about miscarriage: 'Heartbreaking'
MasterChef star Poh Ling Yeow has revealed a devastating personal loss she experienced in a candid new interview.
The beloved chef opened up on ABC's Australian Story on Monday night, revealing she had fallen pregnant eight years ago with her ex-husband Jonathan Bennett, but tragically lost the baby at 12 weeks.
"A lot of people ask me about kids," she said.
"With Jono, we did actually get pregnant about eight years ago and I lost the baby at 12 weeks."
In a devastating twist, Poh revealed she found out she lost the baby pretty much the day she was allowed to tell everyone.
"It was really heartbreaking," she continued.
"I actually went through a full labour at home. And I saw the baby.
"I like bringing this up because I think it's something that people should talk about. And I think it's this sort of silent grief that women have to go through all the time.
"I really like to confront my emotions upfront. Like, I think it's really healthy. I don't like to bury anything. But it was probably one of the most horrendous things I've ever been through."

"I love it because there's no one that would know me better, right?"
